This gem grade Canadian Ammolite fossil has both the adult and younger fossil showing. As the ammonite grows it wraps around itself. This very unique and rare specimen has the younger fossil exposed and in beautiful reds, greens and hints of blue with chromatic color shifting.
The fossil is one of the most rare ammolite fossils. Usually the heart of the animal is never seen as it is entombed inside the larger animal.
