Baculite. Canadian ammolite.

Origin:   Bearpaw Formation , Alberta , Canada.

Size:  Approx. 588x69x36mm 23.14"  Weight：1317g

Geological Time:  Cretaceous Period, + /- 71,000,000 years ago.

This gem grade Bacculite fossil has bright red greens, yellows and hints of purple  There is a nice chromatic color shift as you move the fossil.  The colors change from red, yellow green and even hints of blue & purple.  

This bacculite has semi rough finish on the compressed end of the fossil.  There is still some gem color on the flat end of the fossil with reds and yellows showing.

This is a great specimen that is nearly complete and all original.

It is a beautiful specimen with high grade gem, great length and fairly uncompressed except for the top part.   It is rare to find such high grade Bacculites of this length. This will be a fantastic addition to any collection and would look great on a shelf or in a display.

 We take the photos outside under the sunlight most of the time,but sometimes under indoor yellow lights or LED lights.   Stones have different reflection spectrum of colors and this can vary based on the lighting you are viewing them under.

Refund Policy:  Returns are accepted within 2 weeks of being delivered to your home.  Items must undamaged and returned in the same condition we shipped them to you.  Shipping is non refundable.
