Placenticeras Intercalare  Fossil .

This is a rare piece of Placenticeras intercalare.

This high grade Intercalare fossil has vibrant greens, reds, yellows and blues with hints of purple.  The fossil has many horns radiating from the center to the outside that indicate is is a Intercalare. 

There is a chromatic color shift as well in the gemstone.

You can see many horns on all over this amazing specimen.

Will be an excellent display and addition to any collection.
